Notice is hereby given that on Monday, October 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 10 North First Street, Miamisburg, OH  45342, a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning, Building and Housing Appeals for the City of Miamisburg, Ohio on an application, being Case No. BZ-10-19, a request for a variance to the requirements of Section 1289.04(e)(1) of the Planning and Zoning Code to allow a six foot privacy fence to extend into the front yard on the southwest side (along Mound Road) of the property at 905 Bakersfield Court, Miamisburg, OH 45342.

Notice is hereby given that on Monday, October 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 10 North First Street, Miamisburg, OH  45342, a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning, Building and Housing Appeals for the City of Miamisburg, Ohio on an application, being Case No. BZ-09-19, a request for a variance to the requirements of Section 1289.04(e)(1) of the Planning and Zoning Code to allow an existing six foot privacy fence on the south side of the property at 814 Evans Avenue, Miamisburg, OH 45342 to be increased in height to seven feet.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Miamisburg, Ohio, at the Civic Center in Council Chambers, 10 North First Street, Miamisburg, Ohio, on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE AREA COMMONLY KNOWN AS MOUND BUSINESS PARK FROM I-2 (GENERAL INDUSTRIAL) AND R-1 (RESIDENTIAL) TO MB-1 (MOUND BUSINESS DISTRICT).

This ordinance rezones the area of the City referred to as “Mound Business Park” into its own zoning district (MB-1). Currently, a vast majority of the business park is zoned I-2 (General Industrial). The purpose of this ordinance is to rezone the land in the business park into a district that has more strict use and design standards in order to better steer future development in the business park in a way that meets the intent of the previously-adopted Mound Reuse Plan.
