Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Miamisburg on Monday, October 26, at 6:00 p.m. to consider an application for a Special Use Permit, (Case #SU‑03-2020) for the review of a building addition to the existing St. Mina Church  and associated lot improvements to the property at 1531 King Richard Parkway, Miamisburg, OH 45342. The subject property is zoned R-4 (Residential) and churches are allowable Special Uses in this zoning district when reviewed and approved by the Planning Commission through a public hearing process.

NOTE: Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic and pursuant to Ohio HB 197, this Planning Commission meeting will be held virtually and will be hosted on Zoom and streamed on public access cable (Channel 5) and on the Miami Valley Communications Council (MVCC) website.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Miamisburg on Monday, October 26, at 6:00 p.m. to consider an application for a Special Use Permit, (Case #SU 02-2020) for the review of a dog training facility within one of the alley-facing tenant spaces in the building at 36 S. Main Street, Miamisburg, OH 45342. This use, which has been determined to be similar to a pet grooming establishment, is an allowable Special Use in the Central Business District (CBD-1) when reviewed and approved by the Planning Commission through a public hearing process.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Miamisburg on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. to consider the following ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND SUPPLEMENT VARIOUS CHAPTERS OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMISBURG IN ORDER TO UPDATE VARIOUS DEFINITIONS, TO UPDATE HOME OCCUPATION AND OTHER DESIGN STANDARDS, RESIDENTIAL CONVERSION STANDARDS, VARIOUS USE LISTS, AND PARKING STANDARDS.

This ordinance amends several sections of the Planning and Zoning Code. These amendments include updates to the use lists of the R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4, NB-1, CBD-1, CSD-1, and MB-1 Zoning Districts, updates to the minimum parking and drive aisle size requirements, updates to the site design standards for home occupations and microbreweries/microwineries/brewpubs, and updates to various definitions in the Planning and Zoning Code.
