Creating lifetime memories for a special Birthday!

Birthdays are very special events!  The Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Department has a variety of ways to celebrate your child’s special day.  Our birthday parties include a party specialist, a personalized cake, ice cream, drinks, paper products and lots of fun.  Activities include age-appropriate games or other options depending on the package selected.  All parties are booked depending on time and facility availability.

The cost of a party varies according to package selected.  The price is based on a group of 10 children or less.  An extra charge will be added for each child exceeding the 10-child limit. A minimum of two adults must be in attendance for the duration of the party.  A $50 deposit is required upon booking a birthday party with full payment due two weeks in advance of the party date.  The following are key facts about Party Packages and a list of the available themes.  All parties may be booked up to two months in advance.

Friday: 6-8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 1-3 p.m., 2-4 p.m., 4-6 p.m., 6-8 p.m.

Available when individual agrees to provide their own supplies. Discounts apply to the following:

Mad Science (ages 6-13):
Become a scientist learning to make gak, ice cream and oobleck.

Scavenger Hunt (ages 6-13):
Take your map and join the search for the birthday treasure. 

Tropical Luau (ages 6-13):
Join us for limbo contests and hula dancing, and make your very own Hawaiian lei.

Sports Fest (ages 6-13):
Enjoy a party of all sports-related activities like dribbling contests, scoter races, relays and more.

Birthday Bounce (ages 4-13):
Bring your friends to celebrate your birthday bouncing in an inflatable bounce house, jumping rope, bouncing on pogo sticks and more.

Fear Factor (ages 6-13):
A mild version of the hit television show. Is fear a factor for you?

Tie Dye (ages 6-13):
Choose from shirts or bandanas and tie dye with friends.

Crafty and Creamy (ages 6-13):
Make cool crafts and create your own sundaes.

Let’s Get Rolling (ages 2-6):
Fun with trucks, trains and planes!

Pajama Rama (ages 6-13): 
Pajama party with nail painting, eye mask, popcorn and much more girly fun!

Dino Party (ages 3-8):
Dinosaur egg hunt, footprints, prehistoric dig and dino toss.

Fun with One:
Very First birthday party features smash cake for birthday child layer cake for guests!

Hosting parties for all special celebrations

Birthdays, anniversaries and retirements are all major milestones in a person’s life.  And now, the Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Department can serve up a memorable event to help you celebrate these milestones.

Whether it’s a surprise birthday party for a friend or loved one, a special wedding anniversary for parents or a retirement celebration to congratulate someone for their many years of hard work, the Department is offering a party program to take all the hard work and hassle out of preparing for these occasions.

There are a variety of ways to celebrate.  Parties include the use of facility for a three-hour period, a party specialist, decorations, cake,  punch, paper products, and all set-up and clean-up.  Anniversary themes are based on the years of marriage, such as the silver or golden anniversary.  

The cost of a party varies according to package selected, and prices are based on the number of people attending.  The price for all occassion parties is customized depending on the needs of the patron.  A $50 deposit is required when booking a party, with full payment due two weeks in advance of the event date.  Parties can be provided on Fridays from 6 - 9 p.m.; Saturdays from 1 - 4 or 6 - 9 p.m.; and Sundays from 1 - 4 p.m.  Scheduling is based on time and facility availability, and parties may be booked up to two months in advance.
