Great things are happening in Miamisburg and that promise holds true at the Community Center. For more than three decades, the Community Center has served the needs of mature adults in Miamisburg and surroundings areas. The Center provides an oasis of recreational, social and wellness-focused opportunities for its membership.
The benefits provided by the Center's programs are recognized as vital to aging well, especially during retirement years. Since aging well is a lifelong adventure, many of the Center's programs are accessible to interested adults of all ages.
The Community Center has been operated by the City of Miamisburg Parks & Recreation Department since 1977. The Department's mission is to enhance the livability of the Miamisburg community through exceptional opportunities for individual health and enrichment, community spirit and partnerships, environmental appreciation and economic development.
Participant Committee Advisory Board
Elected by the membership, the Participant Committee is an advisory board that meets monthly with Community Center staff to provide feedback on the Center's programming. Members of the Center are invited to contact any of the following PC representatives or staff to discuss ideas, questions or concerns. Staff representatives on the PC Board are Kim Winter and Ron Reid.

Facility hours and location
Located in the heart of Miamisburg, the Community Center is just three miles west of Interstate-75 on State Route 725 (Central Avenue). Visitors will easily locate the building and surrounding parking set on the north side of Central between Third and Fourth streets, just west of the railroad crossing.

Miamisburg Care Connections (NEW!) Care
Connections is a service that provides City of Miamisburg and Miami
Township residents a safe, secure and voluntary program that identifies,
locates and/or assists seniors and other residents in times of
emergency. Information provided by participants will be entered into a
secured electronic database that will assist first responders in
effectively assisting those participants during emergency calls for
service. Care Connections also provides a lock-box program for those
who qualify. Eligible applicants must meet one of the following
- Person who suffers from Alzheimers or Dementia
- Person 60 years of age or older who generally lives alone and suffers from a potentially incapacitating medical condition
- A juvenile or adult with developmental disorders (e.g. Down Syndrome or Autism)
