Miamisburg, Ohio ? June 22, 2011:  The City of Miamisburg has launched a new website and Facebook page as part of a ?More to Explore? campaign promoting downtown activities.

This theme is designed to encourage the public to explore the various attractions available in the City?s historic downtown district, such as businesses, events, recreation opportunities and historical elements.  The new site at ExploreMiamisburg.com includes a revolving calendar of events and information about local businesses.  It also has a ?Get Outdoors? section that features the numerous activities available within close proximity to downtown, such as kayaking/canoeing the Great Miami River, utilizing the regional bike trail and playing local golf courses.

?With so much regional and nationwide emphasis on getting active and using local resources, we wanted the website to identify and promote the outdoor assets available near downtown,? Downtown Coordinator Katie Frank said.
